Janine Rounceville, LISW

Janine Rounceville is a Licensed Independent Social Worker. She graduated from Iowa State University with degrees in Psychology and Criminal Justice. She earned her Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Iowa.

Janine specializes in working with children ages 3-12 and is currently receiving specialized training in play therapy.

Janine takes a playful approach to engaging children and evoking change. She utilizes evidenced based child-centered play therapy techniques to help children foster skill development and navigate life's challenges with greater ease and understanding.

Janine’s passion is helping children find their innate strengths and learn to thrive. She enjoys partnering with caregivers to help them learn ways to help guide their child through life’s challenges.

When she is not at Healing Rock Counseling, you will find Janine playing with her daughter and dog, drinking an iced coffee, watching a true crime documentary, or reading a book.
